Buying advice
Check dorm rules first: most allow electric kettles but ban open flames. A hand grinder keeps the whole setup silent and compact.
FAQ
Can I make espresso in a dorm?
Not real 9-bar espresso, but an AeroPress with Prismo makes a convincing concentrate.
Is a capsule machine worth it in a dorm?
Convenient but ~$0.90/cup in pods — a kettle + AeroPress costs pennies per cup.
